Bio

Wrohme is an abstract, mixed media artist and painter based out of Boston, MA. His work explores his relationship with emotion, authority, and human behavior.

Captivated by art at a young age, it was ultimately his involvement in the underground punk rock and counterculture scenes where he connected with his artistic voice. The lack of rules, the contrarian yet optimistic viewpoint and the do-it-yourself mentality opened new doors to expression. Inspired by the renegades and innovators of the design world, he attended the Academy Of Art College in San Francisco where he studied graphic design.

For the past 30 years he has worked as a designer and creative director in the music, media and advertising industries. During that time, he continued to explore the mixed media and expressive approach of his early influences, albeit quietly and in solitude.  Over the past few years he’s come out of that isolation and began sharing his work via social media, quickly growing a sizable online following. That renewed dedication, combined with his years of experience has led to a to more honest and open relationship with his work.
